We are grateful to all partners who joined in-person & virtually for the GCE-US 2023 Coalition and Advocacy Planning Session last month! Thank you to our coalition member, Childhood Education International, for hosting! Together, we discussed key opportunities across our coalition for the upcoming year.
>> Please share ideas through this brief survey on ways you/your organization would like to engage with the GCE-US coalition, and how you/your organization might be able to contribute, such as by hosting a coalition meeting in-person at your location, featuring your work and writing a GCE-US action blog, etc.
We very much appreciate everyone's active engagement in GCE-US coalition, partner, advocacy, and community meetings and activities as dedicated coalition members, partners, supporters, and advocates!
In the latest First Focus on Children Big Ideas 2023 publication, the GCE-US team wrote, "Investing in Learners Every Step of the Way: Financing Education in Emergencies."

First Focus on Children is also leading an International Children’s Appropriations Collaborative Project so that the U.S.-based international child advocacy community can develop a combined document with proposed language for child-focused provisions in the Fiscal Year 2024 appropriations bill and report. Please email Kathy Sacco (email@example.com) and Miriam Abaya (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get involved!
Please join us in supporting global education, girls’ education, disability-inclusive education, early learning, and education in emergencies/crises for children & youth around the with the Global Campaign For Education-US.
Meta/Facebook's recurring donation match runs through December 31, 2022, or until the $7 million match fund is spent.
Please consider giving here today - all recurring or one-time contributions make a tremendous difference! For example, $50/month (with this match to then equal $100) makes it possible to train a student / youth leader to help them champion and speak out on education for all with global and local leaders!
